Leadership, A Lifelong Journey Of Growth

What are some of the first things that come to mind when you hear the word “leadership”? Perhaps you think of people in powerful positions, called workers, or those leading the charge for charitable causes. Maybe you think of certain skills, such as public speaking or the ability to manage large groups of people.

While these are all absolutely valid and essential examples and qualities of leadership, they are not the only ones. Great leadership does not look or act in any certain way.

Romans 12:6–8 says, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

Women in particular are uniquely positioned in their families and communities to lead and influence those around them. We seek connection, we nurture, we encourage, and we support.

Our upcoming leadership conference featuring Ericajoy Daniels, “Gifted to Lead: Growing in Your Gifts,” will help women identify their unique spiritual gifts, learn how to apply them in their own spheres of influence, and commit to a lifelong journey of growth.
